Important Medical Requirements
All pets must have had a wellness exam within the past 12 months to purchase prescription flea, tick, and heartworm prevention.
- Dogs must also be current on heartworm testing prior to dispensing heartworm prevention.
- Cats do not need to be current on heartworm testing.
If your pet is not current on required testing or exams, please call Dogwood Animal Hospital or book an exam online to ensure safe and uninterrupted protection.

How It Works

- When they schedule their first appointment, they simply mention that you referred them.
- They receive our $18 new client wellness exam.
- Once their visit is complete, you receive a $25 credit on your account to use toward services, food, treats, toys, or other in-clinic purchases.
